I had the most frustrating experience last night. I found a video that looked perfect, but the only version I could find was a 240p re-upload that looked like it was filmed through a screen door. I spent way too long trying to find a better version before I finally gave up and went to a different site. I ended up on
and was relieved to find that most of their stuff is actually in a decent resolution. It’s 2026—there’s no excuse for low-quality video anymore. Does anyone else get genuinely annoyed by bad resolution, or is it just me being a bit of a tech snob?

I get that way with streaming movies. If the connection drops and it switches to SD, I’ll usually just turn it off and wait until the internet is better. I’ve been trying to catch up on some old classic films lately, but my internet has been a bit spotty because of the storms we’ve been having. I spent my evening reading a book instead, which was actually a nice change of pace. Sometimes a "digital detox" is forced on you by the weather! I hope everyone else has a smoother browsing experience than I did.
